First and foremost, please remember: If you are experiencing dangerous symptoms of a heart problem, such as sudden chest pain, shortness of breath, numbness, or tingling on your upper body (especially on your shoulders and arms), call 911 and seek emergency help.
If you experience any other symptoms of heart problems, including chronic fatigue, and difficulty walking or climbing stairs, make an appointment with your primary care doctor or our cardiologists for an evaluation of your heart condition.
There are many types of treatment for heart problems, including medications, interventional procedures, and minimally invasive surgery. You may be treated in an outpatient clinic, hospital, or receive care at home.
After treatment, our heart team will help you recover and provide recommendations for follow-up care and ways you can manage your heart condition.
